More Information - Kanu Pinotage 2019

A full-bodied South African red wine with a layered palate of blackberry, plum, and cassis, complemented by notes of herbs, spice, and toffee. It is known for its structured, rounded tannins and acidity, with a complex and persistent finish. The wine underwent malolactic fermentation in French oak, followed by 18 months of aging in the same barrels.

Back Story & Wine Information

Founded in 1692 as part of the famous Nooitgedacht farm, Kanu underwent various changes and an accumulation of history to become what it is today. As of 1997, the land and the wines became known as Kanu.
