More Information - Pierre Jourdan Brut

Created in the traditional French method of bottle fermentation known as Cap Classique in South Africa. Enjoy delicate yeasty aromas on the nose, complemented by fresh citrus flavours and crisp acidity

Back Story & Wine Information

This wine was first produced by Achim von Arnim in the 1908s showing the expression of Haute Cabrière’s winemaking philosophy of ‘sun, soil, vine, man’. The Pierre Jourdan range was named after the French Huguenot to whom the original Franschoek farm was granted. This MCC was created with the desire to release a South African Cap Classique that pays tribute to the Champagne region in France and comprises predominately Chardonnay blended with Pinot Noir.

Pairing
A versatile wine complimenting a variety of dishes. Pairings with lighter seafood dishes stand out.
