Back Story & Wine Information

Boland Wine’s headquarters and packaging facilities are situated in Charleston Hill, Paarl where the business was founded in the 1970’s by the Allen Family. During the 1990’s Boland Wine became part of the JSE listed Rebhold Group and thereafter part of Southern Superfoods. In 2005 a MBO took place and it became an independent privately owned and managed business.

Pairing
Meat: Roast lamb, venison, duck breast, beef, or steak are excellent choices. Cheese: Rich, aged cheeses such as Stilton or aged cheddar will pair well with the wine's boldness. Dessert: A rich chocolate mousse or a chocolate brownie can also be a good pairing, especially if the wine has dark fruit notes
