Buitenverwachting (“Beyond Expectation”) is a historic South African wine farm in Constantia, originally part of Simon van der Stel’s 17th-century estate, known for its beautiful setting, acclaimed wines (like Buiten Blanc), historic buildings, and popular restaurant, reviving wine production after a long hiatus under the Mueller family in the 1980s, fulfilling its ambitious name.
