Back Story & Wine Information

The Inspiration: The brand is named after a great aunt in the Malherbe family, a 13th/14th generation Huguenot descendant, who loved taking the long, beautiful route to school along her favorite creek. Nature’s Influence: Young Sarah would stop to watch dragonflies and butterflies, absorbing the sights and sounds, even if it made her late. Wine-making Philosophy: This story translates to the wine-making, where wines are allowed to mature slowly and naturally, absorbing the essence of their surroundings (like the Robertson Valley’s limestone soils) to develop deep, decadent flavors

Pairing
Creamy Pastas: Its rich texture complements creamy sauces beautifully. Mild Curries: The hint of coconut and spice in a mild curry with sambals is a great match. Cheeses: Enjoy with semi-soft cheeses like Cheddar and Gruyere. Poultry & Pork: Chicken or pork dishes with creamy or citrus-based sauces are excellent choices.
