The flavours of our Cape White port-style wine are complimented by lovely flavours of passionfruit, pineapple, citrus and peaches. We are proud to announce that all the flavourings are natural and that no
artificial flavours are used. With a good acidity and balancing sugar content coming from the Cape White, this is a delicious, exciting new product for all occasions.

De Krans Wines in Calitzdorp has always been in the forefront of innovation in the SA Wine Industry. It was the first producer to launch a Cape Pink port-style wine in 2008, as well as the first to produce a Sparkling Natural Sweet Moscato in 2012. Now, after more than a year of planning, the De Krans port-style wine and tonic (in short De Krans P&T) is born.

Back Story & Wine Information

De Krans, located in Calitzdorp in the Klein Karoo, has been owned by the Nel family since 1890. Originally focused on fruit and raisin production, the farm shifted to winemaking, planting its first grapes in 1936, building a cellar in 1964, and pioneering South African port-style wines from Portuguese varieties like Tinta Barocca (initially planted by mistake in 1973).

The crisp, refreshing nature of this port-style cocktail makes it ideal for savory, salty snacks like cured black olives, roasted spicy nuts, or salty snacks like crisps.
